Therapy helping individuals quiet the noise and feel grounded.
There’s a kind of confusion that doesn’t go away just by thinking harder.
You try to make sense of it – your past, how you were raised – but even when you understand why, nothing really changes.
Instead, it can start to feel like you’re the problem.
There’s a quiet but persistent sense of shame, like your mind isn’t working the way it should.
You tell yourself what you should do, yet somehow you keep ending up in the same place, and it’s exhausting.
I'm trying, but it's not working. I thought I'd be better at this by now.
There’s no off-switch – you’re always on.
It feels impossible to relax, even when nothing’s wrong.
Your mind won’t stop, and everything feels like effort.
Thoughts race for no clear reason. Your body reacts – rashes, hives, tension, constant stress.
You tell yourself, “This is just part of life,” and manage it, get through the day, handle your responsibilities, and show up for others.
From the outside, you seem fine – but inside, you’re not really enjoying anything or feeling the way you should.
I'm holding it together… but barely.
Relationships feel harder than they should be.
You keep having the same fight. Feeling misunderstood, you shut down.
You say things you regret right away, and when you try to explain yourself, it still comes out wrong.
Neither you nor your partner feels heard or seen, and you feel alone when you aren’t.
It feels like your relationship is failing – even though you care deeply, the same patterns keep repeating.
Feeling overwhelmed, you retreat away and wonder if the relationship will last.
I want to be close, but I don't know how.
Trying harder isn’t working anymore.
The way you’ve learned to handle things – by analyzing, assessing, pondering options, and pushing through – has helped you cope.
But now, those patterns are keeping you stuck.
Going in circles, replaying the same thoughts without relief. Even small decisions can feel overwhelming or loaded with pressure. You’re constantly second-guessing yourself, unsure if you can trust your own instincts. Emotions feel either overwhelming or out of reach, and no matter how hard you try, something still feels unresolved.

A space to begin understanding what's really happening.
Therapy is a space to begin understanding what's really happening – inside you and around you – and to open the door to change.
I help you see the different parts of your experience more clearly: the tension, the reactions, and the ways you protect, push, or shut down.
Together, we shift how you relate to those patterns, so they no longer run the show. Understand yourself in a way that leads to change – this is a place to start.
Let's Talk
I didn’t start in this field. For a long time, I thought I had things handled – but life challenged that. I realized understanding doesn’t come from thinking harder, but from listening to and healing what’s happening inside. That’s what led me here, and it’s work I care deeply about.
As a therapist, I work with thoughtful, capable people who still feel stuck, anxious, or unsure why things aren’t working. My approach is collaborative and grounded: we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and work toward something that truly fits your life.
I’ll call out your BS, gently challenge your thinking, and help you notice what’s happening in your mind, body, and senses so that you can reconnect with the answers already within you. I draw from a range of approaches, but my focus is on helping you understand your experience in a way that creates real change. This isn’t about quick fixes – it’s about clarity, agency, and finding your way back to yourself, your relationships, and your life.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. We will start where you are and make sense of it together.
Come on over and let's get into it.
More About MeGrounded, collaborative therapy for thoughtful people who are ready for a different approach.

It's time for a different approach.
You've tried thinking it through, pushing harder, and figuring it out on your own, and it hasn't led where you hoped. That doesn't mean something is wrong with you.
Here, things finally begin to click – confusion gives way to clarity, and the patterns that kept you stuck start to shift.
Feel steadier in your life and move forward in a way that works. Let's begin.
